Research
Project overview
In the DSM-V, psychiatric disorders are categorized heterogeneously and subjectively.
It had become necessary to adopt a dimensional classification, by symptoms.
Our goal is to understand the neurophysiological mechanisms at the cognitive level in normal conditions and their dysfunction in patients with psychiatric and neurological disorders.
The goal is to offer them original care methods.
The three axes of our research project are linked to the transverse research axes of the CRNL:
-
The basic axis of neurosciences (memory, emotion and social cognition, social applications)
-
The clinical and preclinical axis of neurosciences (translational research, non-pharmaceutical therapies and rehabilitation)
Our long-term goal is to contribute to the development of a more personalized approach to psychiatric care.
